Ray of Light Farm
Located in East Haddam, Ray of Light Farm is a non-profit animal rescue and animal-assisted therapy center committed to helping people make a positive connection with life through animals. Their ‘Tiny Trotters’ educational program for preschoolers offers HCNS students hands on interaction with animals.
This field trip is held annually in the spring for our 4 year olds. Parents are welcome to attend!
Scott’s Apple Orchard
Both the three year and four year old classes traditionally visit Scott’s Apple Orchard in Deep River every September. Apple picking and hiding in the pumpkin patch are a must!
